    Since visiting Australia (09/02 - 12/02), I have developed some new interests.  I still enjoy going to Bennigan's with Rachel, and walking around the Lansing Mall.  Traveling has now become my latest hobby, and interest.  I have always enjoyed traveling, but never have I traveled so far.  

    Not many people get the chance to vacation outside of the U.S.A.  So I would like to share the times and interest's that enjoyed while visiting Australia.  I am very happy I got to have the chance to go there and share the moments with my Dad.  I don't know when I will travel this far again, and where I will travel next, but I do know I will always remember the time I had while in Australia visiting my Dad.  Thanks Dad, you are the best!!!  Love you Dad!!!

Interest 1 Since traveling is so much fun.  It is very nice to have an airline to be familiar with and enjoy flying with.  I have now flown with Southwest a few times.  They have a very nice member rewards program and an easy site to book flights on.

Qantas Airlines - Qantas is the main supplier of airline travel in and out of Australia.  From Los Angeles I took a Boeing 747-438 Longreach.  This plane is over 200 ft. long and can fly a maximum speed of 572 MPH.  The plane comes with lots of entertainment and makes flying a long way more relaxing.

Interest 2 An interest Rachel and I both share is going to Chicago and doing some sight seeing and shopping.  What a beautiful city to have a nice peaceful day.  Chicago is a little over an hour from South Bend, so after a nice little drive we are excited to see the sights.  The Magnificent Mile on Michigan Avenue is one of the nicest places to shop in the World.

Interest 3 Every Christmas my mom and I enjoy going to the State Capital in downtown Lansing, and watch the cities Christmas Parade, and Christmas Tree Lighting.  Silver Bells in the City is one of the nicest nights out in Lansing.  My mom and I have a lovely time together and I won't be able to go this time since it is Nov. 22, and I will be home on Nov. 30.
