On November 7th. my Dad and I went back to Healesville Sanctuary for another look at the Australian animals. This time the zoo keepers were out doing shows, and walking around. When we went last time they were out on strike and there wasn't anything special going on at the Sanctuary. We even got a free pass to come back. We sure had a very nice time at Healesville. We got to meet some of the keepers and learn some fascinating things about the animals. I got to pet some kangaroos again, and this time I saw a Wombat up very close and got to pet her as well. The Koala's weren't being much of a help and was hard taking pictures of them. After leaving Healesville we drove not too far and visited Maroondah Reservoir Park. Here we got to see a huge dam and some beautiful scenery. After leaving the beautiful reservoir park, we drove in to the very big and green Yarra Ranges. Here there is lots and lots of tree, and plants all over. To me it looked like a huge rain forest. The Yarra's provided a very nice time and beautiful sights.
